You do not need everything perfectly written before you start.
It does help to gather the basic material for your Parking Spot first.
Depending on what you want to remember, explain, share or promote, you may want:
- A clear title
- Your best photographs
- Names, dates, locations, family history, business, service, product or event details
- The story, memory, advertisement or presentation you want to publish
- Your price, offer or call to action where applicable
- Contact information you are comfortable publishing
- Website or social-media links
- YouTube, Rumble or other supported video links
Five minutes gathering everything first can save twenty minutes hunting for it later.

Enter the requested account information and create your password.
You may be asked to verify your email address.
Your account allows you to:
- Create Parking Spots
- Edit and update your active Parking Spots
- Manage your public GraveFreak.com profile
- Receive and respond to messages
- See the Parking Spots connected to your Garage

⭐ STEP 3 — CHOOSE THE RIGHT CATEGORY
Choose the category that best matches what you are parking.
Your Parking Spot might be about something you want to remember, prepare for, investigate, explain, preserve, sell, offer or share.
- A grave, cemetery plot, headstone, monument or memorial
- A family member, obituary, genealogy discovery or family-history story
- A funeral home, cemetery, cremation provider or memorial service
- A monument company, genealogist, estate planner, insurance professional or other related business
- A life-insurance, final-expense, will, trust, estate-planning or end-of-life preparation topic
- A faith perspective, ministry, teaching, book or question about death and eternity
- A ghost story, haunting, near-death experience, paranormal investigation or unexplained event
- A famous grave, historic cemetery, military grave or forgotten burial ground
- A cemetery tour, ghost tour, event, video, podcast, creator or community
- A memory, mystery, opinion, warning, lesson or story that belongs somewhere around the grave
Whatever you create, it has to genuinely belong somewhere around the grave.
What belongs here is broad.
What you do with it is personal.

Complete the fields that apply to what you are creating.
Your Parking Spot can currently include:
- A title
- Up to 25 photographs
- Up to 20,000 characters
- Your advertisement, memory, story or presentation
- Family, memorial, historical, business, product, service or event information
- Price, offer or other information where applicable
- Up to two supported embedded videos
- Website and social-media links
- Contact information
- A clear call to action
You do not have to be a professional writer, historian, genealogist or storyteller.
Start with what you know. Explain why it matters, what makes it interesting and what you want the visitor to understand or do next.
Use AI if it helps you organize a rough draft. Use a friend. Use an old photograph, a family notebook or a napkin and a pen.
Just check the finished page yourself.
Make it accurate.
Make it useful.
Make it sound like you.
✅ STEP 5 — REVIEW EVERYTHING
Before completing the Parking Spot, take another look at it.
Check:
- The title
- Photograph order and image quality
- Names, dates, locations, spelling and factual accuracy
- Memorial, product, event, business, service or offer information where applicable
- Video and website links
- Contact information
- The call to action
- Whether you have the right to use the photographs, videos and other material you are publishing
- Whether what you are publishing complies with applicable law and current site rules
If you would not want to explain something after somebody calls, messages or asks you about it, fix it before you publish it.

A separate $7 purchase is required whenever you create another standard Parking Spot.

🏁 STEP 7 — PUBLISH AND SHARE THE URL
Once you complete the submission and purchase process, your Parking Spot publishes and receives its own page and shareable URL inside GraveFreak.com.
Now do something with it.
You can share the URL through:
- Text messages
- Facebook, Instagram, X or LinkedIn where appropriate
- YouTube or Rumble descriptions
- Your website or newsletter
- Family groups, historical societies, churches, clubs, organizations or communities where appropriate
- QR codes and printed material where appropriate
- Direct conversations with people who may care about what you parked
The social post can attract attention.
The Parking Spot gives that attention somewhere useful to go.
You can promote it yourself and leave StoryDrive™ completely alone.
StoryDrive™ and the Video Spotlight are optional services available when they make sense for what you are doing.

🔄 STEP 8 — KEEP IT CURRENT
Return to your account when something important changes.
Update the Parking Spot when:
- A price or offer changes
- A cemetery plot, memorial product or other item is no longer available
- An event or service date has passed
- A business, service or offering changes
- Your contact information changes
- A name, date, location or other factual correction is needed
- Your research uncovers something new
- You have new photographs, videos, memories or information to add
If the story is still useful after an item, event, service or offer is gone, update the page and keep the story accurate.
If the Parking Spot has finished doing its job, remove it.
Just do not keep telling people something is available when it is not—or something is true when you now know it is not.

Your public GraveFreak.com profile connects your Parking Spots in one place.
One Parking Spot may be all you ever need.
Create another later and it joins the first one.

There is no requirement to build a big Garage.

On GraveFreak.com:
- A Listing is called a Parking Spot

The software may use the technical labels.
